Cat with no name

A beautiful orange cat was stuck in the very top of Douglas fir tree for seven nights.  All the surrounding neighbors were concerned.  They got together and tried to find the owners.  They posted signs around town, and asked around but the owners could not be found.  Finally they decided they had to get the cat down themselves. One of the neighbors said they would adopt the cat if the owners were never found.

They called me to come out.  It was a long drive out to the country so I brought my dog Bark as a copilot.  When we got there I found that the cat was about 90 feet up in the tip top.  Luckily there was an even bigger tree next to it that I could climb then swing over to the cat.  I got up and swung over, the cat was happy to see me and started purring as I got to it.
